Servant Leaders Pause (And Why I’m Taking Time Off This Holiday Season)
I want to share that the end of the year carries a special kind of energy. Not of endings but of beginnings.

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get said enough in business spaces—especially for women.
It is okay to pause.
As the holidays approach, many Seasoned MujerPreneurs feel torn. You want to rest, but you also feel like you should be doing more. One more push. One more post. One more plan.
But here’s what I know to be true after years of leadership:
Servant leaders pause.
That’s why I’m stepping away intentionally from December 20th to January 5th. This isn’t a disappearance. It’s alignment. It’s me practicing the self-leadership I teach.
Pausing allows us to listen—to our bodies, our intuition, and that quiet inner voice saying ya es suficiente por ahora.
Three Simple Actions to Close the Year with Peace
1. Look Back Gently
Not everything needs fixing. Reflect on what worked and what didn’t—without harsh self-talk. You are not behind. You are evolving.
2. Create Supportive Benchmarks
Instead of big, heavy goals, choose intentions that honor your season of life. Success doesn’t have to feel exhausting to be real.
3. Choose Your Feeling for the Year Ahead
Peace before productivity. Clarity before strategy. This shift changes everything.
Three Self-Care Practices I Recommend
Intentional rest (real rest, not scrolling)
Gentle movement or breathwork to calm the nervous system
Sacred planning time with a journal, candle, and music
This season, let’s normalize rest as wisdom.
Servant leaders pause—and that pause is powerful.
