🌸 The Soul of Morelia: Everything Happens for a Reason

Sometimes the universe — God, the Creator, or whatever name your soul recognizes — rearranges your plans to guide you exactly where you need to be.

That’s what happened on my recent trip to Morelia, the capital of Michoacán — a city radiant with color, culture, and the ancestral spirit of Día de los Muertos.

I was supposed to arrive on Thursday. But an unexpected airline error separated my husband and me, and we missed our flight.

For a moment, I thought about giving up.
Maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

Fear crept in, and panic followed close behind. But then I paused, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath.

✨ I reminded myself that I am whole, that I am surrounded by light.

In that stillness, faith replaced fear, and I heard a soft whisper:

“Go anyway.”

So we did.

The next morning, before the sun even rose, we boarded a new flight — without realizing that our delay was actually divine timing.

✨ A Holy Arrival

When I finally stepped onto the cobblestone streets of Morelia, the air felt sacred — ancient and full of memory.

There was music in the distance, laughter echoing through narrow alleys, and marigolds everywhere — cempasúchil, their golden petals guiding both spirits and souls.

Inside a small church built by the people, I kneeled before an indigenous Purépecha healer.

She lifted a crown inscribed with intricate symbols, praying softly in her native language as she rang a clarifying bell.

The sound resonated through the stone walls, wrapping around me like a divine embrace.

💧 Tears fell as I prayed — not for myself, but for the healing of the world and the safety of those I love.

In that sacred moment, I understood:
I hadn’t been delayed — I had been delivered.

💜 A Circle of Women

Later that afternoon, as we reached our hotel, I saw them — a circle of women artisans, ranging in age from their twenties to their seventies.

They stood together, selling handmade creations that radiated joy, color, and cultural pride.

I was mesmerized by their vibrancy — the woven fabrics, the gleaming jewelry, the embroidered hats, and the way they interacted with one another.

They weren’t competing; they were celebrating.

As one woman held up a hat stitched with floral patterns, another called out proudly:

“Her work is beautiful — go see her other pieces!”

That moment brought tears to my eyes. It was pure sisterhood — the living spirit of Juntas Podemos Más right before me.

🕊️ A Divine Whisper

Standing there, en ese momento, I heard my mother’s voice from heaven:

“Mija, how can you help them? ¿Cómo les vas a ayudar?”

Instantly, I remembered my old tagline —

“From brick and mortar to click and order.”

That was my answer. I knew why I had been guided there.

I introduced myself and told the women about my podcast, Mujer De Éxito Unbounded.

I shared that I wanted to tell their stories — to help the world see their passion, talent, and purpose.

Their faces lit up. They prayed over me and called me their angel.

But the truth is, I was the one who left blessed.

Later, I learned that those vendors only come to the hotel from Friday through Sunday.

We arrived Friday — the exact day they appeared.

✨ God’s timing, not mine.

🌺 Alignment Over Chaos

That trip reminded me that what feels like chaos is often alignment in disguise.

The Creator was answering my daily prayer — to use my voice, my platform, and my purpose to uplift other women.

What began as a missed flight turned into a moment of clarity — a divine appointment that reminded me of my mission:

To leave a legacy of Latina servant leaders behind me.
